Years,

Reason for participation

Since I was an apprentice, I have entered the profession of Japanese cuisine for over 20 years. In these years, I witnessed the prosperity of Japanese cuisine. However, there are few Japanese cuisine competitions that can be compared with large scale Western cuisine and Chinese cuisine ones. I believe that culinary competitions are a stage for chefs to show their skills. Most important of all, it’s a great chance to meet other chefs. One can exchange views with and share one’s skills to other chefs. Competitions are about winning and losing, so it’s a way of improving skills. I think that I will be motivated to improve myself in this challenge.
